The Spiritual Crime Prevention Imbizo is an effort to create and enhance active and meaningful participation of various structures of the community, including government officials in the fight againts crime. Therefore the Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela will on Wednesday, 26 July 2023, lead the Spiritual Crime Prevention Imbizo at Hindu Community Hall, Minal Park in Bethal (Gert Sibande District).

The community engagement will see the Provincial Commissioner of Police in Mpumalanga and senior management of the SAPS in the province, engage the community of Bethal and the surrounding areas on crime related matters as well as addressing their general safety and security related issues.

Community policing structures, law enforcement agencies and the South African Police Service (SAPS) will engage the community on the role they can play in the prevention and combating of crime through spiritual intervention.
