A 37-year-old suspect was arrested by Katlehong North police on in connection with the murder of a 62-year-old woman whose half-naked body was found in Phooko Section with multiple stab-wounds.

Police acted on a tip-off from the community when they spotted and nabbed the suspect a few hours after the case had been reported.

The suspect will appear before the Palm Ridge Magistrates’ Court soon on a charge of murder.
