GQEBERHA - SAPS Bethelsdorp Detectives are searching for an elderly 76-year-old man who went missing since Monday 15 July 2024.

It is alleged that at about 10:00 on the mentioned date, Alfred de Klerk, residing at Shaheed Street, Extension 36, Malabar, left his residence and said that he is going to visit his sister in Schauderville. He never arrived at his sister’s house, and he also did not return home. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing black pants, a cream jacket, black shoes, and a black hat. The family searched around the area but was unable to trace him. 

Anyone with information that can assist to find the elderly man is requested to contact the investigating officer, D/Warrant Officer Isaac Mitchell on 074 421 0384 or crime stop number 0860010111 or the nearest police station or MySAPSApp.
