NORTHERN CAPE - The Commander of K9 Lt Col Damane, members of K9 and two Crime Intelligence operatives followed up on information of drugs being sold at a house at Maseru Street in Galeshewe. The house was searched with the assistance of the search dogs and they managed to seize about 283 Mandrax tablets, one (1) electronic drug weighing scale, two cellphones and an amount of R9 340 -00. Two suspects were arrested and charged for dealing in drugs. The suspects will appear before the Galeshewe court soon.

The station Commander of Galeshewe, Colonel Alexia Robertson welcomed the intervention of the K9 Unit in the fight against drugs. She further said drugs is an evil that robs young people of their youth and contribute in street robberies and housebreakings to feed the addiction.
