GAUTENG - Today the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court sentenced Philani Mkhulisa, aged 30, to 10 years imprisonment for murder.

Mkhulisa was found guilty for the murder of a 25-year-old car guard. The victim had succumbed to his injuries after he was brutally assaulted by the accused in August 2018.

The case was assigned to Detective Sergeant Matshepo Twala of SAPS Johannesburg Central for investigation. Twala's meticulousness led to a solid case against the accused in court.
