KIMBERLEY - A 29-year-old male suspect, is expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 05 October 2022 on a charge of dealing in drugs.

The suspect was nabbed on Tuesday, 04 October 2022, at his residence at approximately 09:00.

Members of the Kimberley K9 and Provincial Organised Crime Units kept close observation on the premises since 07:00, when they were tipped off that the suspect would leave his residence to deliver drugs in the neighbourhood.

At 09:00 the suspect was pulled over, as he was enroute to deliver drugs in Beaconsfield.

The members searched the suspect's vehicle and found mandrax tablets, balls of crystal meth and cat drugs.

The vehicle which the suspect used to transport the drugs was confiscated and impounded.

The Northern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Koliswa Otola commended the team for their relentless efforts in the fight against drug related crimes.
