Two late senior police officers hailed during their memorial service

Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Lesetja Mothiba has sent his condolences to the Rajin and Mohale families during a joint memorial service held at Regina Mondi Church in Soweto.  

"On behalf of my management team and all employees of the South African Police Service, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the Rajin and Mohale families following the passing of the late Colonel Jeanie Rajin who was head of support at Orlando and Colonel Manamisa Mohale who was the station Commander at Linden police station.

The chapter of these two magnificent members in the South Africa's Police Service's will never be forgotten. Our brother and sister in blue has left behind heartbroken families and devastated colleagues. No matter what we say here today, we can never give you your loved ones back.

But, believe me when I say that we feel your pain, we share in your sorrow, we acknowledge their sacrifices and dedicated services in upholding the safety and security of our community and we continue to hold their names high,” said Gauteng Commissioner.

Colonel Jeanie Rajin who was 23 years of age when she began her career in the police leaves behind husband, Major General Ronnie Rajin, two daughters and three sons while Colonel Manamisa Mohale who was a dedicated station commander at Linden police station leaves behind three children and wife.

The two fallen hero and heroine were hailed by many speakers during the memorial service for giving their lives to the many communities they serve and protected with pride until they met their death. The two will be remembered by many as they continued to shine proudly their badges upon their blue chests.  May the Grace of God accompany their families through this bereaving period.
