Media Statement Port Elizabeth: SAPS Mount Road detectives are urgently appealing to the community to assist them in tracing an assault victim who disappeared on Thursday, 28 January 2021. According to police information, it is alleged that the victim, age unknown was on a business premises in Burman Road in Deal Party during the afternoon/early evening. He was severely beaten up by on the property. Prior to police arrival at the business premises, he was allegedly removed from the property by a vehicle. Police have opened a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm however at this stage the victim is still unknown. Detectives are appealing to the victim or anyone who can assist in tracing this person to contact D/WO Riaan Steyn at SAPS Mount Road on 041 394 6000 or Crime Stop 08600 1011 or the nearest police station. All information is confidential and callers may remain anonymous.
