On Tuesday, 17 April 2018, the police acted on intelligence driven information about alleged two drug houses and arrested four suspects. The SAPS Flying Squad raided the houses situated at Phutanang in Kimberley. On the first house, the police found drugs with an estimated street value of R2250.00, an undisclosed amount of money and electric saw, grinder and digital camera suspected to have been stolen. Two suspects, male (19) and female (25) were arrested for dealing in drugs and possession of suspected stolen goods.

At the second house two suspects aged between 19 and 20 years old were arrested after Mandrax tablets and undisclosed amount of money was found at the premises. All arrested suspects are expected to appear before court soon. Police investigation continues.
