FREE STATE - The Ficksburg Family, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit needs community assistance in finding a person of interest who can assist in the continuous investigation of alleged rape.

It's alleged that on 30 October 2024 at about 14:15, the 30-year-old woman was from Ficksburg town and headed home using a footpath through railway and woodland. She was near Imperani Farm on R26 when she was approached by an unknown man who was in possession of a knife. The victim was robbed of her cash and raped by the suspect.

A case of rape and robbery  is being investigated.

Any person who might know the person in the picture should contact Ficksburg police, Detective Sergeant Kobli at 084 318 9417, Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or drop an anonymous tip on the MySAPS App.
