Media Statement GQEBERHA - SAPS Algoa Park is looking for a suspected kidnap suspect that allegedly abducted a new born male baby of 4-days-old. This follows after the mother, 33-year-old Noncedo Jali gave birth to her baby boy on 22 November 2022 at Dora Nginza Hospital and was released from hospital on 27 November 2022 to go home. An unknown female suspect posing as someone sent by her family to come assist Jali, then went with Jali to Kenako Mall to withdraw money and buy clothing for the new born. In the busy mall the suspect evaded the mother with the new born baby. The baby was only 4 days old at the time. An identity kit of the suspect has been compiled and any person that could assist police in identifying the person in the image or know her whereabouts can contact the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, Detective Sergeant Sizile Sindi at 082 303 0249 or phone 08600 10111.
