Newcastle Police are looking for a woman known as Nothando Nxumalo (25) who reported to be from Kilbachan, Newcastle who might assist the police in the investigation of a missing 13 days old baby boy. On 30 December 2013 at about 11:00 Siyamthanda's mother Zanele Nkosi saw the woman at Newcastle rank and they had a conversation as they have met before in Gauteng. It is alleged that the woman sent her to buy chips in one of the shops around Newcastle bus rank; she gave her the baby because she trusted her. And when the mother returned Nothando was nowhere to be found. Siyamthanda was covered in blue and white blanket written Siyamthanda. The woman was wearing Khaki dress and had a bonding with curled hairs on the side. A case of kidnapping was opened at Newcastle police station for further investigation.
