Media Statement WESTERN CAPE - The Garden Route District Commissioner, Major General Norman Modishana, assembled a team from various police units to probe the murder of two security guards at the Loerie Fourie garden refuse site near Kwanonqaba in Mossel Bay. On Monday, 12 December 2022 at about 05:10 police were alerted about two bodies outside the guarding office on site. Upon arrival, they found the victims both aged 28 with gunshot wounds to the head. The pair was deployed to perform guarding duties at the site the previous night (2022-12-10). Crime scene experts combed the scene for clues while the motive for the killing is yet to be established. The suspect/s are still at large and a search for those responsible for the incident is underway.
