FREE STATE - The Police at Reitz together with Mangaung and Thabo Mofutsanayana Districts Tactical Response Team arrested two suspects in possession of ammunition at Petsana near Reitz.

On Thursday, 15 December 2022 the two young men visited initiation school in area of Petsana and it came to the attention of police coordinator of Initiation schools that the two were in possession of ammunition. The information was brought forth to TRT members who were busy with other tactical operational duties in the vicinity for assistance.

The team visited the certain identified house in Petsana where they searched and found six live rounds and seized the exhibit. The two have been charged and expected to appear before the Reitz magistrate court on Monday, 19 December 2022 facing charge of possession of unlicensed ammunitions.
