Two suspects, Samkelo Kezo Shabane (19) and Sphamandla Luthuli (22) appeared in Hibberdene court on 25 March 2013 for housebreaking and they were remanded in custody until 4 April 2013 for further investigation.

 

Hibberdene SAPS members received information about wanted suspects in a housebreaking case that took place in their area. The members followed up the information that led them to Sihlonyaneni area in Hibberdene. Two suspects were arrested and through investigation, stolen goods from the housebreaking case were recovered. These goods include TV sets, bicycle, lawn mower, grass cutter and power tools.

 

Both suspects were charged with housebreaking and theft. Some of the recovered goods were already identified by the lawful owner and some not yet identified. We appeal to anyone who might have lost his or her property either during housebreaking or house robbery to contact the Hibberdene police station for identification of property.
