WESTERN CAPE - Bishop Lavis police are seeking the assistance of the public to trace the driver of a motor vehicle that was involved in a hit and run incident in Bonteheuwel.

Reports suggest that an unknown male sustained fatal injuries when he was knocked over by a motor vehicle on Jakes Gerwel drive on Sunday, 25 December 2022 between 20:30 and 21:35. The driver fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim was declared deceased on the scene by the medical personnel.

Anyone who has information that might assist in the investigation is kindly requested to contact the investigating officer Warrant officer Van Schalkwyk on 082 312 7221 or crime stop at 08600 10111.
