This morning at about 08h30 three suspects were arrested minutes after a house robbery were committed at Boskruin, Honeydew.

It is alleged that about four suspects broke into a house in Boskruin where they held an elderly lady at knife point. They stole jewellery, a cellphone, cash and a laptop. As they fled the scene, they were seen by the victim's daughter as she drove in. She summoned the sector vehicle for assistance. The police helicopter was also called in to assist the ground forces as the suspects had fled into a bushy area.

Three suspects were arrested and the stolen goods recovered. They will be charged with robbery. Police suspect that there might have been a fourth suspect who is still at large. Investigations continue.
