NORTHERN CAPE - The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit are requesting assistance in the tracing of Jan Lewis Strydom (42). The suspect is wanted for alleged child pornography and rape of an 11-year-old girl in Victoria West, during March 2016.

Strydom was scheduled to appear in the Victoria West District Court but failed to attend. A warrant of arrest was issued by the Court in this regard.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect should please call D/Capt Coetzee of the De Aar FCS unit on 0824955224.

All information will be treated with the strictest of confidence. The investigation continues.
