FREE STATE - On 05 April 2023 at about 18:45, a 45-year-old man, who is a relative of the mother of the victim, sent the eight-year-old girl to the nearby shop. The mother agreed since he is a known relative. After a while, the mother heard the child screaming and she rushed to investigate. The daughter told her mother that, after returning from the shop, the man sexually assaulted her.

The Police of Allanridge were informed about the incident and a 45-year-old man was arrested for Sexual Assault. He will appear on the 11 April 2023 in Odendaalsrus Magistrate Court.
