POLOKWANE - Two suspects aged 39 and 46 will appear before Polokwane Magistrate court today on Thursday 20 April 2023 facing business robbery charges that were committed on 21 January 2023 at a Beauty Salon in the City Centre of Polokwane. The suspects who had been on the run for some time, were nabbed after a manhunt was launched by the Polokwane police following a tip-off about their whereabouts. Reportedly, two unknown male suspects entered the salon and the owner asked what they want. One of the suspects allegedly produced a firearm and pointed the owner. He further demanded money and cellphones from the victims inside the salon. Subsequently, the suspects managed to flee the scene with two cellphones valued at R7500.00, an IPhone 11 worth R16.000-00 including R5700-00 in cash from the owner's handbag amount. The suspects who reside at Mokgao Park, Moletjie village and Seshego will appear before Polokwane Magistrate court today on Thursday 20 April 2023 facing charges of business robbery.
