Police releas identikits of two suspects sough in connection with rape: Gqeberha

GQEBERHA - The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Gqeberha are seeking the community’s help in tracing two suspects wanted in an allegation of rape that took place during the early hours of Sunday morning, 23 April 2023 in Sidwell.

It is alleged that at approximately 02:00 on the abovementioned date, the complainant (24) was walking in Eveready Road in Sidwell when she was confronted by two males who were armed with a firearm and a knife. She was forced into the bushes where she was raped by both men.

The victim opened a case of rape at SAPS Algoa Park.

Police have compiled an identikit of the suspects and details are that both males are approximately 1,6m tall and are aged between 20 and 25. The first suspect as per attached identikit was wearing a red T-shirt and a pair of jeans. The second suspect as per attached identikit was wearing a green zipped jacket and a pair of jeans. Both were clean shaven.
