CAPE TOWN - Adverse weather conditions and heavy rains in Citrusdal resulted in severe flooding, cutting off access routes to the town and some adjacent farms. One farm situated about 20km from the town was so badly affected that the occupants were  trapped without food and supplies, as vehicle access was impossible. With the assistance of the Air-Wing’s chopper, food supplies were delivered to the affected family and their workers.

SAPS Western Cape will remain on high alert to assist with any disaster management operation initiated by the stormy weather conditions.
