CAPE TOWN - Police from Cape Town Central focusing on removing drugs from the streets, yesterday arrested three suspects for possession of drugs worth a substantial amount.

A 48-year-old man was apprehended on the corners of Buitenkant and Commercial Streets, Cape Town and 25 small bags containing tik and cocaine were seized.

In a separate incident, two suspects aged 29 and 44, female and a male respectively, were arrested in Strand Street and Bo-Kaap. Police found the suspects in possession of mandrax tablets.

All three suspects are expected to appear in court once they have been charged.
