PARKWEG - Bloemfontein Flying Squad and bike squad arrest three suspects and recovered two stolen vehicles and stolen loot from a burglary.

On Saturday, 05 August 2023 at about 11:00, members of Bloemfontein Flying Squad received a lookout on a stolen Silver Toyota Hilux and a Toyota Fortuner, which were taken during a residential burglary at Tempy Army base on Friday.

The complainant is an officer in the army who arrived home on Saturday morning and realised that his house was broken into, ransacked and two of his vehicles stolen.

Flying Squad members with the assistance of Parkweg Bike Squad stopped the Hilux in the Navalsig area with three african males aged 32, 33 and 38 years old.  Upon searching the vehicle, members found household appliances, clothing and fishing equipment.

Further investigation led members to a White Toyota Fortuner that was also taken from the house, loaded with more stolen property parked in the Park Road area.

The trio was arrested for possession of suspected stolen vehicles aswel as possession of suspected stolen property.  They will appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate court soon.
