POLOKWANE - The Police at Driekop in Sekhukhune District are appealing for public assistance with information that can lead to the arrest of suspects responsible for brutal murder of a couple aged 36 and 38 years at Ga-Maroga village. According to the information Police received a report on Thursday, 31 August 2023 about dead bodies of a couple that were discovered in a shack. Upon arrival at the scene Police found two bodies of the man and woman aged 38 and 36 years with bullet wounds on their bodies on bed covered with a blankets. The motive for this gruesome killing is unknown. The circumstances surrounding the incident is being investigated. The deceased's identity will be released soon after their next of kin have been notified. The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe condemned the Incident, calling upon Community to assist Police with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects.
