In an intelligence driven operation, a 34-year-old male was arrested for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition yesterday 9 September 2023 by Duncan Village members SAPS.

On their arrival at the house, police confiscated a shotgun (serial number filed off) and a pistol as well as 11 shotgun rounds and 9mm rounds. Police also seized a magazine, holster, a bulletproof vest, vehicle keys and three cellphones.

Suspect will appear in the East London magistrate on Monday, 11 September 2023.
