KAGISANONG - Alert Bloemfontein Flying Squad members catch three red handed busy stealing diesel from a generator.

On Monday 14 October 2024 at about 10:00, Bloemfontein Flying Squad members were busy with routine patrols at South Park Landfill adjacent to the N1, when they noticed a truck and a White Isuzu pick up standing next to the road.

Upon investigation, members allegedly caught the three busy stealing diesel from a generator on the back of the truck.

Three suspects were arrested at the scene. Two employees of the trucking company aged 38 and one 46-year-old male suspect who was buying the diesel.  The three were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property and theft.  They will appear in court soon.
