POLOKWANE - Ritavi Police have launched a manhunt for two unknown suspects who committed a house robbery at a farm along the Letsitele Valley main road in Mopani District on Sunday, 29 October 2023 at about 03:00.

An employee at the farm was asleep in his compound when two unknown males forced their way into his room. One of the suspects was holding a knife, while the other suspect held a steel pipe, thus threatening to stab the victim. They then fought physically. The second suspect who was holding a steel pipe hit the victim on his upper body, and he lost consciousness and collapsed. The victim sustained injuries to the body as a result of the assault and went to Letaba Hospital for medical treatment.

The suspects searched the room and took his valuables, such as safety boots, a hot plate, a work suit, a DVD music player, groceries, school bags with clothes, and an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled the scene.

The incident was reported to the police, and a house robbery case was opened.

Anyone with information that can assist in the arrest of two male suspects of house robbery is urged to contact Detective Warrant Officer Shikwambane Jonas at 078 526 3372, Crime Stop number 08600 10111, nearest police station, or share information on MySAPS App.
