FREE STATE - On Friday, 17 November 2023, members of Welkom Pop Platoon 5, Section 2 followed up on information that led them to Harrismith.  While patroling near the Taxi Rank at about 10:00, it is alleged that members saw suspicious African males exchanging something.   The two were approached and searched, one was carrying a diaper that seemed full or used.

Members unwrapped it and found nyaope satchets inside. The 26-year-old was arrested for dealing in drugs.  The other male 30-years-old was also arrested after he was found in possession of a drug called Rock

The team proceeded to a house in Intabazwe, Selahluwe section at about 11:00 and arrested 47-year-old for dealing in Drugs after Nyaope Satchets and cash were found wrapped in a plastic.  Drugs were also found in the Headboard and the others were found hidden inside the toilet.  Further information led to the arrest of her 33-year-old neighbour.  All four suspect will appear in the Harrismith Magistrate court soon.
