BLOEMFONTEIN: The police in Mangaung Metro are looking for Lefa Mabasa who might provide important information that will help to locate Lethusang Azael Fothoane.  Lefa Mabasa originates from Mazinod, Maseru in Lesotho.

On Tuesday 31 October 2023 the family of Lethusang Azael Fothoane arrived at Kopanong police station to report that he went missing. Lethusang left his home in Chris-Hani, Bloemfontein headed for work in his White Toyota Fortuna and never returned.

Ongoing investigation revealed that Lethusang was seen at Wepener leaving the old station house where he resided in company of Lefa Mabasa, Matshidiso who is also known as Qoqotho and Lerato; a slender built female who is dark in complexion. According to the police current records, Lethusang army camouflage uniform, identity document, wallet and his vehicle number plate were found in Lesotho. Unfortunately, Lethusang and his Toyota Fortuner have not been found as yet.

Any member of the public who might know where Lefa Mabasa, Matshidiso alias Qoqotho and Lerato can be found is requested to contact Colonel Bolsiek at 082 466 8530, Captain Mojaki at 082 553 7639 or Warrant Officer Thekiso at 072 135 8334. Alternatively, the information can be submitted on MySAPS App or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. The information can also be reported at any nearest police station.
