POLOKWANE - A 43-year-old female suspect has appeared before Vuwani Magistrate's Court on Thursday 31 July 2025, for possession of dagga and illicit cigarettes estimated to a  street value of over R1.6 million rand.

Tshidada Ntanganedzeni, 43, was remanded in police custody until next week, Thursday 07 August 2025, for profiling and formal bail application.

According to reports on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, at around 11:00,  members of Provincial Organized Crime Unit  followed information about a drugs hotspot at Lwamondo Khumbe Village.

The members tactically approached the house, a female person was found.

A search was conducted resulting in the confiscation of the dagga and illicit cigarettes.

*188 × refuse bags containing dagga.

*04 × plastic bags of dagga seeds

*22 × cartons of illicit cigarettes Remington gold

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has applauded members for ridding of this province of illicit trade of drugs and cigarettes .
