Directorate of Priority Crime Investigations (Hawks) 

Pretoria – Three out of the six arrested suspects appeared briefly at the Ogies Magistrate Court of Friday (2015/02/30)  and their case was remanded  in custody to 25 February 2015 for bail application.  The other three suspects were released as they could not be linked to the case.

The suspects have been identified as Billy Malope (41), Thabane Twala (40) and Lebogang Maroele (46). They face charges of possession of an unlicenced firearm, possession of stolen property as well as armed robbery. Investigations into the discovery of the jammer are still underway.
