GAUTENG – Martin Gladwell Zulu (25) is expected to appear again in Germiston Magistrates' Court on Monday 22 January 2024 after he was arrested and granted bail for fraud during his first court appearance on Wednesday, 03 January 2024.

It is alleged that during October 2023, Zulu had applied for a vehicle finance with MFC Nedbank and was approved but the complainant subsequently discovered a misrepresentation on the bank statement and proof of employment. Zulu was arrested in possession of the vehicle.

After the discovery of fraudulent documents, the matter was reported to the Germiston Hawks' Serious Commercial Crime Investigation team for further handling and Zulu was arrested on the 29 December 2023.
