CAPE TOWN - Members attached to Mowbray SAPS arrested a 38-year-old Tanzanian national following the discovery of a consignment of dagga and mandrax found in possession of the suspect on Monday, 07 April 2025 at about 12:45.

The members performed crime prevention patrols in Strubens Road, Mowbray when they accosted the suspect male who started to run when he saw the members approaching. The members caught up with him and upon searching him found a considerable quantity of mandrax and packets of dagga on his person.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in the Wynberg Magistrates’ court on a charge of dealing in drugs, once charged.
