Two men from Katnal village of Madikwe will appear in the Madikwe Periodic Court on 29 June 2015 on charges of possession of suspected stolen livestock. The men aged, 30 and 45 were pulled over  by police at a road block at Dwarsburg Road in Dwarsburg village on Sunday, 21 June 2015.

Two cattle were found loaded in a trailer which was pulled by a bakkie.  When the two were asked about the origin of the cattle, they could not give a satisfactory explanation. Preliminary investigations revealed that the cattle were stolen from Rooikopiespele farm near Mmasebudule. It was also established that the two were transporting the cattle to Moruleng near Rustenburg, where a buyer was waiting.

The owner was notified and he positively identified them. Police confirmed ownership through the owner's brand mark. The cattle were subsequently returned to the owner.
