GQEBERHA - The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Gqeberha are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 15-year-old girl who went missing on Friday, 16 February 2024.

It is alleged that on abovementioned date at approximately 14:00, Kaylyn Joyce Kido (15), from Searle Road, Schauderville left her house. She informed her parents that she is going to a friend’s house before going to the shop.  She was informed to be back home at 19:00, however she never returned. Efforts made by the family to locate her were in vain. On Tuesday 20 February 2024 after she still did not return home, she was reported missing at SAPS Gelvandale. 

Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating Kaylyn Kido, to urgently contact D/WO Timothy Minyayo on 071 475 1731 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or make use of the My SAPS App to send information.
