PARKTOWN - The police in Gauteng conducted a crime intelligence led operation in Thembisa where they arrested a suspect for possession of stained bank notes and prohibited chemicals.

The team which comprised of members from Crime Intelligence Aggravated Robberies, SAPS Thembisa, EMPD STT, FNB PTCM, Vusela Covert Intel, and Blue Hawks Tactical Unit pounced on the suspect and searched his premises. They found stained bank notes and multiple prohibited chemicals.

The 56-year-old will appear before court soon.
