TROMPSBURG - On 2 June 2024 at about 03:00 the 26-year-old victim was walking and had almost reached her home in Noordmansville when she allegedly saw the suspect who is a known male, coming towards her. 

The suspect grabbed her and pulled her, passing her residential place to a shack, threatening her with a steel pipe.

The suspect allegedly assaulted her and forced her into a shack and forcefuly undressed and raped her.  When done he stood up and threatened her not to say a word to anyone about the incident.

The victim reported the matter to Trompsburg police and the 18-year-old suspect was arrested for rape.  He will appear in the Trompsburg magistrate court soon.  Investigations continue
