Vuwani – A case of Public Violence on 18 July 2015 at Lwamondo Village is being investigated. It is alleged that on 14 July 2015 the decomposed body of a male was found hanging at the Headman Tshikhovhokhovho’s orchard. He was identified as 23-year-old Dakala Bulannga. An Inquest was opened for investigation. Upon information it was found that the deceased was allegedly taken by the community members who accused him of theft and housebreaking. It is suspected that they might have assaulted him and he was found hanging on 14 July 2015.

The members of the community who are alleged to have taken him were questioned and they could not be linked. The community was angry after their release and five houses were burnt on Saturday evening. A case of Public violence was opened. Nobody was injured during these incidents. The suspects are yet to be arrested. Investigation continues.
