POLOKWANE - Moletlane police have launched a massive manhunt for two assailants who shot and killed a 49-year-old man in cold blood while at a friend's salon at Moletlane Disco near Zebediela shopping complex on Saturday, 06 July 2024 at about 18:40.

According to preliminary information, two men walked into the salon wearing face masks and shot the victim twice on the head. They then fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

Police and emergency medical personnel were summoned to the scene. The victim, who also owns a salon in the area, was certified dead at the scene.

The motive for the brutal murder is not yet known.

Police have opened a case of murder.
