Media Statement from North West Media Centre Potchefstroom- Yesterday, police in Madibogo arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly stabbing his 28-year-old cousin on 25 July 2015. The incident happened at about 19:00 in Tlhware Section of Madibogo-pan near Vryburg. It is reported that the two men were sitting at the deceased home and the deceased requested the return of his memory stick. An argument ensued over the stick as the suspect did not have it and the deceased started assaulting the suspect. The suspect went to a kitchen to fetch a knife and stabbed him once under his arm. The deceased died on the spot. The suspect was arrested and will appear in the Atamelang Magistrate’s Court today, 27 July 2015 on a murder charge.
