NORTHERN CAPE - The Chairperson of the Provincial Community Policing Board, Mr Tebogo Molapo together with his Executive committee as well as the District CPF Chairpersons are currently hosting their quarterly meeting today, 27 July 2024 at the Kimberley SAPS Gymnasium in Kimberley.

In attendance are the five District Commissioners and the Provincial Heads for Pro-Active Policing,  Legal Services,  Corporate Communication and Liaison, Crime Registrar,  Financial Services, Family Violence,Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit (FCS), CPF Co-ordinators at the district offices and senior managers of the Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison, as well as the Northern Cape Youth Desk.

Points under discussion included the functionality of the CPF structures in the province, feedback from the Ministerial Crime Retreat, the crime overview, the budget and logistical matters including the resourcing of the structures as well as the transportation of CPF members.

The meeting will interrogate presentations, deliberate and remark on issues raised and find amicable solutions as the meeting progresses.
