POLOKWANE - The Limpopo Provincial Flying Squad, supported by Provincial Detectives, Senwabarwana SAPS, and Mighty Security Services, arrested two male suspects during intelligence-driven operations targeting drug distribution in Polokwane and Bochum.

Following a tip-off about drugs being transported from Polokwane to Bochum, operational teams were  deployed along identified routes. A white Mercedes-Benz was intercepted on the Bochum Road, leading to the arrest of a 26-year-old African male. Police recovered 50 sachets containing substances suspected to be drugs and cash amounting to R4 000. The estimated street value of the drugs is R10 000.

Further information led police to a rented room at Extension 05, Bochum. With consent to search, police recovered 60 sachets of substances suspected to be drugs, bundles of dagga, and cash amounting to R4 287. A 22-year-old African male was arrested. The estimated street value of the drugs recovered is R11 000.

Both suspects will appear in the Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 08 January 2026 on charges of dealing in drugs.

Investigations are ongoing, and further arrests cannot be ruled out.
