NORTHERN CAPE – The Kathu Police arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a murder and business robbery incident.

The incident allegedly happened on Tuesday, 08 October 2024 at about 13:30.

It is alleged that two unknown males entered the tuck shop in Seder Avenue in Kathu.

The tuckshop employee who was alone in the shop, was fatally injured by the suspects before they allegedly robbed the tuckshop and fled.

The suspect was traced and arrested an hour after the incident at the dumping site in Kathu. The other male suspect is still at large.

The police are requesting that anyone with information to contact Detective Sergeant Thamsanqua Mangaliso on 073 8044 316 or utilize the MySaps app.
