Media Statement from North West Media Centre Potchefstroom- Police in Boitekong arrested two male suspects aged 22 and 29 for allegedly raping a 17-year-old female on 16 August 2015 at about 05:00 at the Sondela dumping site near Boitekong. According to the information, the victim was at a local tavern with her friends and she went outside to talk with one of her friends. While talking to her friend, the suspects came and pointed the victim with a firearm. They then two took her to a dumping site where she was assaulted and they took turns in raping her. The victim went to report the case to the local police and she was taken to the hospital. She was on her way back from the hospital with the police when they met the two suspects who were arrested.
