NELSPRUIT - Another success by Mpumalanga Police has been made after the arrest of a 43-year-old male suspect in Pienaar this afternoon, 14 January 2025. The arrest is in connection with the shooting incident in Pienaar, whereby eight were murdered and three others sustained some injuries on Saturday, 11 January 2025.

During the arrest of the second suspect, Police confiscated three pistols.

The suspect will appear in court soon.

The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr)Zeph Mkhwanazi, is delighted by this breakthrough  and praised the investigation team for their commitment.
