POLOKWANE - The Police in Musina under Vhembe District have arrested two male suspects aged 23 and 31, following an intelligence-led operation linked to an attempted robbery incident in Blakisdorp, Musina, on Friday, 24 April 2026.

The members acted swiftly on information regarding an attempted robbery and conducted a planned operation along the Old N1 Road.

During the operation, the police spotted three suspects fleeing towards Nancefield. A pursuit ensued, leading the police to an identified residence at Nancefield, next to Mooze Complex, where two of the suspects were successfully apprehended.

The third suspect, who was reportedly in possession of an unlicensed firearm, managed to evade arrest and remains at large.

The two arrested suspects, aged 23 and 31, will appear before Musina Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 28 April 2026, on charges of attempted robbery.

The Police have launched a massive manhunt for the outstanding suspect.
