Western Cape police divers are searching for an object thrown into a lake at Marina Da Gama in Muizenberg as part of an investigation into the murder of a 65-year-old woman on Saturday, 18 October 202. The deceased’s husband who was also in the house was found injured with a gunshot and taken to a medical facility. Crime scenes experts are still on the scene trying to piece together the events that led murder and attempted murder.

Reports at the disposal of police indicate that gunshots were heard from the house in the early hours of Saturday morning, 17 October 2020 and police were called out.
