FREE STATE - The Fezile Dabi Trio Task Team, Parys Crime Intelligence Gathering (CIG) unit, Sasolburg highway patrol, and Parys Traffic officials joint efforts resulted in the arrest of three males and one female, all aged between 28 and 72 years, for possession of a signal jammer and the recovery of a stolen Porsche Cayenne.

On Friday, March 7, 2025, at about 15:30, members of the above units received a lookout for a silver Mercedes-Benz involved in the theft of a motor vehicle case reported in Vereeniging. The vehicle was spotted on the R59 driving towards Parys, and members successfully stopped and searched the vehicle.

Upon searching the vehicle, three African males and one female were found in possession of a signal jammer and the keys of the alleged stolen Porsche Cayenne.

Later during the night, members of the Trio Task Team proceeded to the Blyde in Pretoria, where they recovered the stolen Porsche Cayenne.

The four suspects are expected to appear before the Parys Magistrate Court soon on charges of possession of signal jammers.
