GAUTENG - The police in Gauteng are looking for a man whom they believe can assist in the investigation after a 27-year-old woman was found allegedly murdered in Sunninghill, Johannesburg, on Saturday, 08 March 2025.

The man, pictured, can assist the police with the investigation.

Police are appealing to anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of the man to please contact the nearest police station or call Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Information can also be given anonymously via MySAPS App that can be downloaded from any smartphone.

It is reported that the mother of the deceased became suspicious after she had been calling her daughter, and the phone rang unanswered. It is then that she reported the matter to the police. The police proceeded to the apartment of the deceased and found her lying with a gunshot wound. She was certified dead on the scene.
